Mexml

Machine Edition program analysis and reporting

The ME XML Analyzer (Mexml) is a stand-alone Windows, command line based program used to analyze PLC projects built with GE-IP’s Machine Edition IDE, with the aim of identifying and documenting:
  • Potential programmer mistakes
  • Program Block software interfaces
  • Hardware and EGD interfaces
  • Program call-trees
  • Program file dependency order
  • Usage and definition of all variables
Mexml provides analysis and reporting that is not supplied with the standard Machine Edition tools, which makes it a must have for anyone who uses, supports or builds systems with GE-IP PLCs.

NotchFlow

Measure water flow-rate over a V-notch weir

NotchFlow is designed to help people estimate the flow-rate of a water course from a single height measurement. It works in conjunction with an easy to construct V-Notch weir that funnels all the water through a well defined V-shaped profile. This geometry simplifies all the calculations and only requires the height of the water above the bottom of the V-Notch to be measured in order for NotchFlow to determine the flow-rate.

The program is perfect for all those times you find yourself in the middle of nowhere, without any advanced measuring equipment, but with a need to determine just how much water is flowing through that water course. And while that may not be all that often, when you need to do so then your best solution is NotchFlow.

BucketFlow

Measure water flow-rate into a container

BucketFlow is designed to help people estimate the flow-rate of a water source by simply timing how long it takes to fill a container of a known size. Just divert the flow into the container and use the stopwatch-like start and stop buttons to measure the fill time and then BucketFlow will convert that time into the flow-rate.

The program is perfect for all those times you find yourself in the middle of nowhere, without any advanced measuring equipment, but with a need to determine just how much water is flowing through that pipe or out of that spring. And while that may not be all that often, when you need to do so then your best solution is BucketFlow.
